Ștefan Cel Mare Airport of Suceava (SCV, LRSV)
We started the refueling operations in 2009, on Ștefan cel Mare – Suceava Airport (SCV / LRSV), setting the foundation for aviation fueling services at this location. Since then, we have expanded to several other airports across Romania, including Baia Mare, Iași, Satu Mare, Târgu Mureș, Sibiu, Bucharest Băneasa, and Brașov.
Our first refueler, SV01, a 19.5 m³ IVECO STRALIS, marks the beginning of our commitment to high-quality aircraft fueling services. Manufactured with durability and efficiency in mind, this unit was expertly equipped by Nuova MA.NA.RO., integrating state-of-the-art fuel distribution technology, precision metering systems, and industry-leading safety features. Since its deployment, SV01 has played a crucial role in our fueling operations, ensuring seamless and reliable service to a wide range of aircraft. Its robust design and advanced equipment allow us to meet the highest international standards for fuel quality, efficiency, and safety. As our fleet continues to expand, SV01 remains a testament to our dedication to operational excellence in the aviation fueling sector.
Our first storage tank, R1, a 50 m³ stainless steel tank, was commissioned in 2010, providing the initial capacity for our fueling operations. In 2023, we expanded our storage capacity to 240 m³ by commissioning an additional stainless steel tank, R10. This expansion allows us to meet growing operational needs while ensuring a steady and reliable fuel supply.
Iasi Airport(IAS, LRIA)
We started refueling operations at Iași Airport (IAS / LRIA) in 2011, strengthening our presence in eastern Romania and responding to the increasing demand for high-quality aviation services in the region. From the very beginning, this location has played a vital role in our national network, thanks to its strategic positioning and rapidly growing passenger traffic.
To support the airport’s operations, we initially installed an 80 m³ stainless steel tank, providing the foundation for our local fueling infrastructure. As traffic volume and service needs expanded, we responded by adding another 120 m³ stainless steel tank, thereby increasing both our storage capacity and our ability to meet the fueling demands of multiple airlines and aircraft types operating at the airport.Our development plan foresees a total storage capacity of 480 m³, ensuring enhanced operational flexibility and readiness to accommodate future growth.
Iași is now one of Romania’s busiest regional airports, serving an increasing number of domestic and international routes. At this location, Eurospeed operates with multiple modern refuellers, designed to offer fast and precise fueling under strict safety and environmental standards. Our highly trained staff ensure seamless operations, whether servicing narrow-body commercial jets, business aviation, or charter flights. Looking to the future, we have plans to further enhance our infrastructure at Iași by implementing additional capacity and operational innovations. Our presence here is built on long-term collaboration with airline partners and airport authorities, and reflects Eurospeed’s ongoing investment in performance, reliability, and service excellence.
Brasov-Ghimbav Airport (GHV, LRBV)
The newest airport where Eurospeed operates is Brașov Airport (GHV / LRBV). We started our refueling services here in 2023. As the newest airport in Romania, Brașov gives us the opportunity to support a growing region with modern and efficient fuel services.
Eurospeed established this fueling station from the ground up with a focus on cutting-edge technology, efficiency, and flexibility. Our fueling capabilities at Brașov Airport include:
- A 240 m³ stainless steel tank for JET-A1, compliant with the latest safety and quality standards, ensuring optimal fuel storage and distribution;
- A 65 m³ refueller dedicated to JET-A1, fully equipped to serve a broad spectrum of aircraft—from helicopters and business jets to large commercial wide-body aircraft.
Sibiu Airport (SBZ, LRSB)
Operations at Sibiu Airport (SBZ / LRSB) commenced in 2013, marking an important step in our efforts to serve central Romania’s growing aviation needs. Since the beginning, this location has developed steadily, becoming a key point of operations for Eurospeed in central Romania. Its consistent growth has been driven by the increasing number of flights, the airport’s strategic positioning, and the ongoing investments made in both infrastructure and human resources. Sibiu now stands out as an important part of our national refueling network, offering top-tier services to a growing list of airline and private aviation partners.
We currently operate with multiple refuellers and a 240 m³ stainless steel tank, which ensures we can deliver safe, accurate, and efficient refueling services for a wide variety of aircraft. The fueling infrastructure at Sibiu is maintained to the highest industry standards, and our trained personnel ensure seamless and responsive support for both commercial and private aviation clients. To keep pace with increasing flight activity and the airport’s development trajectory, we have also reserved dedicated space for the installation of an additional storage tank. This forward-looking approach reinforces our commitment to operational readiness, adaptability, and long-term growth.
Baneasa Bucharest Aurel Vlaicu Airport (BBU, LRBS)
In 2016, Eurospeed extended its operational reach to Aurel Vlaicu – Băneasa Airport (BBU / LRBS), a key aviation hub in the Romanian capital, Bucharest. This move marked an important milestone in our expansion strategy, allowing us to serve both business and general aviation clients in one of the most dynamic and traffic-intensive areas in the country.
Our fueling station at Băneasa is equipped with a 120 m³ stainless steel tank, meeting all applicable safety and environmental standards. In addition, a dedicated 50 m³ stainless steel tank for Avgas 100LL is installed, specifically designed to serve light aircraft and general aviation. The tank is complemented by a fleet of advanced refuellers, enabling efficient ground handling and rapid turnaround times for various aircraft categories.
One of the notable capabilities of our Băneasa operation is the flexibility to refuel with both JET-A1 and Avgas 100LL, depending on aircraft specifications. Our systems are designed to accommodate a full range of aircraft, from small private planes and helicopters to wide-body commercial jets, ensuring high adaptability to different operational requirements.
Given the continuous growth of traffic at this airport, we have developed plans to expand our storage capacity, positioning ourselves to meet increasing demand while maintaining top service quality. Our experienced team at Băneasa operates under strict compliance protocols and industry best practices, ensuring safe, reliable, and professional fueling services that align with Eurospeed’s company-wide commitment to excellence.
Transilvania Targu Mures Airport (TGM, LRTM)
In the year 2012, Eurospeed started refueling operations on Transilvania Airport (TGM / LRTM), enhancing its presence in central Romania with a trustworthy and efficiently managed fuel installation. At this location, we currently operate an 80 m³ stainless steel tank, built to meet the highest standards of aviation safety and environmental protection. The tank is equipped with modern filtration and metering systems that allow precise and efficient refueling operations. Recognizing the strategic importance of Târgu Mureș in connecting various regional routes, we have also planned for future development. The airport site includes reserved space for an additional fuel tank, allowing us to expand operations as flight traffic grows.
The airport benefits from Eurospeed’s certified fueling teams, modern equipment, and proactive maintenance, ensuring that services here remain consistent with the high operational standards applied across all our locations.
Baia Mare-Maramureș Airport (BAY, LRBM)
To meet growing demand and ensure operational continuity, we later added a 50 m³ stainless steel storage tank, bringing the total storage capacity at this airport to 75 m³. The tank is equipped with advanced safety and filtration systems, ensuring clean fuel delivery and strict adherence to international quality standards.
Maramureș Airport continues to benefit from Eurospeed’s proactive maintenance, certified personnel, and compliance with all environmental and aviation fueling regulations. Our presence here supports both scheduled passenger flights and private charters, contributing to the airport’s development as a key regional air hub.
Through ongoing investment and close collaboration with airport authorities, we remain committed to enhancing fueling operations at Maramureș and supporting the broader growth of air transport in northern Romania.
Satu Mare Airport (SUJ, LRSM)
We began refueling operations at Satu Mare Airport (SUJ / LRSM) in 2011, marking our continued expansion into northwestern Romania. The decision to establish a fueling base at this airport was driven by its strategic role in connecting regional and national routes, as well as the growing presence of both commercial and private aviation in the area.
Our initial setup included a 20 m³ refueller and a 50 m³ stainless steel tank, enabling us to support various aircraft sizes and refueling needs. These installations were designed with flexibility and safety in mind, following all required aviation standards. The tank and vehicle are maintained regularly by our certified technicians, ensuring uninterrupted fueling operations and compliance with environmental and operational guidelines. As traffic and airport infrastructure have grown, so has our role at Satu Mare.
Today, this location is recognized as an important regional fueling point in the Eurospeed network, serving a mix of private flights, charter operators, and scheduled airlines. Through consistent investment in staff training, infrastructure maintenance, and responsive service, Eurospeed continues to support the safe and efficient movement of aircraft at Satu Mare.
